TBTSYS-1H liquid limit penetrometer is used to determine soil liquid limit, plastic limit, plastic limit index, natural consistency and other indicators. The method is measuring the depth of vertical penetration of a standard cone with a certain weight into the sample within a specified time.

SYS Liquid & Plastic Limit Tester is used to determine moisture content of upper limit (liquid limit) and lower limit (plastic limit) of clay soil, provide parameters for soil partition and consistency calculation etc. It adopts digital technologies and displacement transducer with specialties such as automatic fall of cone, electromagnetic hand operation, and auto timing (5 seconds) etc.

This apparatus is used to test both the liquid limit and plastic limit of clay(< , that is to test the maximum and minimum moisture content of the clay under the state of plasticity. The testing result can be used in field of classifying soil categories, calculating natural consistency, plastic index and other fields of engineering.

The SYS apparatus can actualize test of both 76g and 100g by using the standard weightiness block of 24g.
